Brief history
2007. – The establishment of the company JM d.o.o. in Medulin. The company begins its operations by investing in attractive land intended for the construction of its first building tailored to meet tourism needs. Despite the global real estate crisis that marks the early years of its operations, the company demonstrates resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
2015.–2016. – Collaboration with architect Boris Buljan, owner of the architectural studios DEX SPIN and DIVEL from Pula. This collaboration brings a new, modern visual identity to buildings, combining natural facade tones with the Istrian ambiance. It marks the beginning of an era of projects characterized by high interior and exterior aesthetics.
The transition to the name "Lotus" began during 2015, a year when the company experienced significant business growth. The inspiration for the name comes from the symbolism of the lotus flower—representing resilience, rebirth, and purity—which the company sought to embody after its challenging beginnings and gradual ascent in the world of luxury construction.
Lotus Constructa became a natural choice as the new brand name, combining two key ideas:
- „Lotus” symbolizes refinement, aesthetic elegance, and harmony with the natural environment.
- „Constructa” emphasizes expertise in construction and a focus on high-quality building solutions.
Today – Lotus Constructa operates as a leading brand in luxury construction on the Adriatic. Thanks to its solid foundations, the company continues to grow and improve its offerings, applying innovations and keeping up with modern trends in construction and architecture.
